The first assignment is a "Slice of life, Sarasota" peice. There are extra restrictions: You cannot have more than 2 values for each object/local color, and you cannot render or blend at all. Your peice has to read entirely from design -light against dark. I took these pictures of my thumbnails as a ghetto scan to get them on my computer and mess around with stuff some. I didn't take pictures of the rest of the pages. I thought that ladies shopping in whole foods with sunglasses on was silly, and said Sarasota straight up. Plus, I just like produce. I have a long way to go with refining the idea, so I'll try to post a finished image and some more process as I go.
