3 weeks of traveling (Minnesota, Brandywine, Philladelphia, Baltimore, DC) found me in snow, sunshine, though the doors of 12 or more museums, and viewing thousands of great paintings. I only did sketchbook stuff in all that time, so it was very relaxing. By the end I was fairly bursting to paint. With only 5 days left of break, I got back to Sarasota and immediately shut myself up. We'll see how many paintings I can do by Thursday.

With great artists like Wyeth, Duveneck, Thayer, Kimpt... ad infint. to chase, I need to run or leap this semester and make serious headway.
